Job DescriptionMortgage Collections Representative (Direct Hire – 100% Remote)
Start Dates: Two classes launching January & February
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Location: 100% Remote (Equipment provided)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Mortgage Collections Representatives to join a growing team in a direct-hire, fully remote role. This position focuses on early-to-mid stage mortgage delinquency (30–120 days), handling mostly inbound calls from borrowers and working to resolve past-due accounts through payment solutions and referrals to loss mitigation when needed.
What You’ll Do
• Handle mostly inbound calls (approximately 60 calls per day) from borrowers with delinquent mortgage accounts
• Collect past-due mortgage payments and negotiate resolutions
• Set up payment plans when full payment cannot be collected
• Educate borrowers on account status, next steps, and available options
• Identify accounts needing escalation and refer to Loss Mitigation as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and company guidelines
Training & Schedule
• Training: 5 weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• Post-Training Schedules (Mon–Fri, EST):
? 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
? 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
? 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Requirements
• MUST have prior collections experience
• Mortgage collections experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage high call volume in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable discussing sensitive financial matters with professionalism and empathy
Remote Work Requirements
• High-speed, reliable internet connection
• Dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for call-center work
