Position Summary:
The Field Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate communications, site logistics, and field activity for the Re-IP and network migration project. This role ensures that on-site teams have the necessary information, materials, and support to execute their tasks efficiently and on schedule.
This is a remote position with up to 20% travel to project sites. Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening, and must hold a valid drivers license.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating daily communications between central project teams and on-site staff.
- Manage site scheduling, ensuring readiness for technical teams prior to deployment.
- Track delivery of equipment, materials, and documentation to each site.
- Maintain and update site-specific checklists and readiness reports.
- Support logistics planning, including travel arrangements for field personnel.
- Monitor field activity during cutover windows, capturing status updates and reporting back to the central team.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with a focus on detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise between technical teams and non-technical site contacts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent productivity tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a coordination, scheduling, or logistics role, ideally supporting IT or facilities projects.
- Experience in multi-site coordination and vendor engagement is a plus.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must pass a police background check and drug screening prior to employment.
