Job Description

Job DescriptionOur client, a $200m+ manufacturing company is looking for an Office Manager to join their team in Fort Lauderdale.

The ideal candidate has an AP/AR or Bookkeeping background along with Office Manager experience and is fine wearing multiple hats and jumping in where needed.

Daily

  1. Run sales margin reports.
  2. Check all Customer invoices for adequate sales margins with Sales Mgr.
  3. Approve and submit all non-PO vendor invoices for payment.
  4. Assist with vendor credit applications.
  5. Send and follow up on credit applications that need to be approved by Credit Mgr., once approved send letter and open accounts.
  6. Set up approved credit customers
  7. Assist with notice of non-payment.
  8. Send notice of intent to lien with AR dept.
  9. Assist with release of liens with AR dept.

    Weekly Tasks
  1. Post adjustments to customer accounts, and cash accounts
  2. Review and maintain customer hold list.
  3. Follow up on pending credit apps
  4. Follow up on releases pending checks (check copies)

    Monthly Tasks
  1. Run account statements.
  2. Reconcile customers accounts (as needed)
  3. Assist Controller with EOM posting discrepancies and questions
  4. Verify end of month balancing!
  5. Review and clear mid-month and end of month open sales order report with Sales Manager.
  6. Review mid-month and end of month open salesperson profitability report with Sales Manager.
