Short Description
The Member Service Representative supports in-branch service at First Choice Credit Union by providing knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient assistance to members in person, by phone, and via email, identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate credit union products and services.
Full Description
- Informs members and prospective members about products and services
- Instructs members on use of IPads to open new accounts and apply for loans
- Assists Members with opening and closing accounts
- Educates Members on digital tools such as Online Bill Pay, Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit
- Identifies and cross-sells all products/services of the Credit Union
- Conducts member loan interviews and prepares accurate, complete loan documents
- Process file maintenance on existing accounts
- Work with teller department to facilitate some transactions
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Direct service provided as follows:
o Order ATM and Debit cards
o Take loan applications, review for completeness and input into system
o Assist with IRA deposits, withdrawals, transfers
o Assist with outgoing wires
o Open/Close accounts
o Take Stop Payments
o Process changes of address requests and check orders received from Members
o Identifies and advises Auto Advisor of referrals and denials for auto purchase loans
Schedule and Pay
- Compensation: $18 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time, 40-hour work week (in-office)

Requirements:
- Experience: 1–3 years of related customer service experience
- Additional Requirement: Lending knowledge preferred
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Preferred Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish
