Location: Onsite – Boynton Beach, FL (commutable distance required)
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 AM–7:00 PM (ET)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Duration: Temporary to hire
About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Enrollment Assistant to support the growth of its nursing and allied health programs. This role is critical to the student journey and focuses on enrollment processing, student communication, records management, and compliance in a healthcare education environment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new systems quickly, thrives in a fast-paced office setting, and brings a strong customer-service mindset when supporting students and families.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Front-Facing Support
• Greet and assist prospective students, current students, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, and online
• Provide clear, accurate information about nursing and healthcare programs
• Support on-campus and virtual recruitment events, orientations, and information sessions
Enrollment & Records Management
• Process and maintain student and applicant records in compliance with FERPA, healthcare privacy standards, and accreditation requirements
• Collect, verify, and track enrollment documentation (transcripts, immunizations, background checks, clinical eligibility paperwork, credentials)
• Track applicant statuses and support nursing cohort enrollment cycles
Application Processing & Student Communication
• Guide applicants through admissions requirements, documentation, and registration steps
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person; assist with technical or procedural questions
Administrative & Office Support
• Maintain confidential digital and physical records
• Prepare reports, forms, correspondence, and meeting materials
• Manage calendars, mail, office supplies, and department communications
• Assist with compliance audits and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Required
• High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience (higher education or healthcare preferred)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and document verification skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance
Preferred
• Experience with CRM systems
• Familiarity with healthcare education or student enrollment processes
