We create a nurturing healthcare experience, empowering patients by providing a physician-led ecosystem based on a foundation of Science, Technology, Faith, and Compassion.

Job Summary

The Medical Practice Manager is responsible for the strategic, operational, and clinical oversight of a dynamic, value-based care clinic that includes in-home care, assisted living services, and on-site specialty programs. This role blends traditional office management with population health strategies and quality-based performance goals. The Practice Manager will lead daily operations, staff development, patient satisfaction, provider support, and compliance—while also overseeing the clinic’s physician-directed weight loss program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
  • Manage provider and patient scheduling to optimize productivity, reduce no-shows, and streamline workflow.
  • Lead and supervise the clinic’s medical weight loss program, including patient tracking, marketing coordination, and outcome improvement.
  • Monitor clinic performance under value-based contracts (e.g., HEDIS, STAR, CMS) and support initiatives to close care gaps and improve preventive care.
  • Hire, train, and lead administrative and clinical support staff; conduct performance reviews and ensure appropriate coverage through cross-training.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement in both clinical and administrative teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS) and support audits and quality improvement programs.
  • Manage the practice budget and partner with billing teams to ensure accurate documentation and revenue tracking.
  • Oversee proper use of EMR systems, ensuring complete and timely documentation, recordkeeping, and staff proficiency.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field (required)
  • 3–5+ years of experience managing a medical or specialty practice
  • Experience in value-based care, population health, and home-based services strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with chronic care, weight loss programs, and patient engagement strategies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in EMRs and population health tools
  • Understanding of payer portals, HCC coding, risk adjustment, and CMS metrics
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and budgeting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Core Competencies

  • Leadership and change management
  • Operational efficiency and clinical workflow optimization
  • Team building and performance management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, on-site or hybrid depending on clinic structure
  • Regular communication with patients, providers, payers, and executive leadership
  • May require occasional travel to affiliated locations or partner facilities
