Responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining the lobby area, they play a vital role in orchestrating the flow of guests and optimizing their satisfaction. With their warm demeanor and excellent customer service skills, Hosts/Hostesses create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to earn tips through their direct interaction with guests, enhancing their overall compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm greeting and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and communicate wait times effectively.
  • Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering table availability and server rotations.
  • Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
  • Handle phone calls and assist with inquiries and reservation requests.
  • Assist servers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor guest flow to maximize seating efficiency and minimize wait times.
  • Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Maximize tip potential by delivering exceptional service and hospitality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is beneficial.
