We are partnering with a top Radiology Group Management company in their search for an Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor bills, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of AP processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Management:
- Perform daily AP operations including invoice processing and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures for AP processes.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable status and aging.
- Provide analysis and insights into AP trends and expenses to support financial decision-making.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in AP operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and automation tools where applicable to streamline AP workflows.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to AP functions.
- Support audit processes related to AP transactions and documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve AP-related issues and optimize processes.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- Preferred not required bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in accounts payable or financial management, preferably in a healthcare or medical practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
- Experience with SAGE and proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
