Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Exhibitor Sales and Services Representative, located in Miami Gardens, FL. The representative will manage exhibitor accounts, provide exceptional customer service, and liaise with the design and production teams to ensure client needs are met. Key responsibilities include sales support, resolving customer inquiries, tracking order progress, and coordinating logistics to ensure timely and successful event execution. The representative will also assist in the preparation and attendance of various tradeshows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform basic functions in EXPO’s computer resources (i.e., EXPO Online, Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
  • Enter exhibitor lists, orders, process payments, and price masters, without supervision.
  • Work as support staff on large shows and independently on small shows.
  • Perform all in-house and show site functions/procedures as stated in the Exhibitor Services Manual (i.e., data processing, incoming/outgoing phone calls/batch processing, customer billing, invoicing, collecting on outstanding balances, show closings etc.…).
  • Ensure daily tasks and goals align with the department OKRs.
  • Coordinate with production department exhibitor requirements for assigned shows.
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone, fax, email or in person at show site.
  • Contact exhibitors weekly for upselling for the Increase Revenue program. Must meet goal weekly.
  • Handle incoming exhibitor telephone calls.
  • Contact exhibitors regarding problems with orders/payments.
  • Generates billing and invoicing for the exhibit area of the show. Proficient in billing that involves moderate pricing specifications (i.e., multiple third parties, multiple credit cards, multiple discounts, credits, etc.).
  • Collects all monies for services before, during and after the show.
  • Set up and maintain show files.
  • Complete all show closing functions.
  • Able to perform audits. (Pre-show, self-audits, show-site, and post-show).
  • Pack show-site supplies, computers, printers, and other equipment.
  • Coordinate and manage service desk efficiently at shows consisting of multiple team members, up to 4 at a time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of related experience preferred. Experience in the events or tradeshow industry is a plus
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in sales support and account management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be willing to work both independently and participate as a team player to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Maintain a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Representative is expected to be on time with a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Proficiency in computer applications and CRM software
  • Must be able to work on-site in Miami Gardens, FL

Travel and Schedule

This is a full-time position. Regular office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and travel throughout the U.S. with notice.
