Job Description
As a Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor on the F&B team at The Garden Hotel & Resort, you will support the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets while ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction. You will assist in supervising staff, coordinating service, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining operational excellence across outlets. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, comfort using technology, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of all F&B outlets, including the restaurant, café, pool bar, and in-room dining.

Supervise floor operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to brand standards.

Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and promptly address guest concerns.

Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and labor efficiency.

Manage cash handling procedures, including processing voids and complimentary items, preparing shift reports, reconciling cash drawers, and overseeing cash deposits

Train new team members and support ongoing coaching and performance development.

Monitor staff performance and provide real-time feedback to promote accountability and excellence.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all outlets.

Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste.

Assist in maintaining quality control for food presentation, beverage execution, and overall guest experience.

Collaborate with the F&B Manager on promotions, events, and outlet activations.

Help implement service standards, procedures, and guest experience initiatives.

Use guest feedback and operational observations to identify opportunities for improvement.

Maintain a positive, professional, and guest-focused work environment at all times.
Must-Have Qualifications

Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish and French is a plus.

Technical Skills: Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., Toast, Micros, Square).
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Experience with high-volume or upscale dining environments

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per workday)

Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching to manage supplies and assist staff

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., boxes, trays, equipment)

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, including hot and/or noisy kitchens and busy dining areas

Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate POS systems, review reports, and handle detailed tasks

Work location: Onsite at The Garden Hotel, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Work environment: Combination of office work and on-floor presence in dining, kitchen, and service areas. Exposure to hot, cold, or and/or humid environments, especially in the kitchen or outdoor service areas. May involve managing multiple outlets simultaneously.

Work schedule: This position may require availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs. Flexibility in scheduling is essential in a hospitality environment.
