Job DescriptionSUMMARY: Responsible for the safeguarding of hotel property, assets, guests, patrons, and team members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests, patrons, and Team Members and to protect all hotel assets
• Assist sick and injured guest, patrons, and Team Members
• Delivers an enthusiastic, professional greeting to guests upon arrival and departure
• Ensures area around entrances is clean, safe, and secure
• Builds relationships with patrons that add to the guest experience
• Maintains and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures
• Investigates all guests and staff complaints and observations
• To serve as a link between the rest of the management team and the staff
• Makes unannounced spot checks on staff performance at varying times and days
• Reports and notify management with regards to incidents involving guests or patrons

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Minimum of one-year security-related background required
• Licenses or Certificates- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses certificates or permits
• Minimum of two years’ experience within customer service
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to verbally communicate and take direction
• Ability to multi-task in high volume and fast-paced work environment
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
• Ability to operate a handheld two-way radio
• Strong attention to detail required

Working Conditions:

• Work is mostly performed outdoors and requires various shifts and weekend hours. As well as physical patrols of all JHR properties
