Job Title: Entry-Level Tax Data Entry Clerk / Preparer Support

The Role:
As an Entry-Level Tax Data Entry Clerk, you will be the backbone of our preparation process, focusing on accurate and timely data entry into our tax software. You'll handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and help maintain a smooth workflow for our tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately input client financial information (W-2s, 1099s, etc.) into tax software.
Assist in preparing individual income tax returns (Form 1040).
Verify data for completeness and accuracy before passing to a tax preparer.
Scan and organize client documents.
Provide excellent customer service and administrative support to clients and the tax team.
Maintain confidentiality and data security for all client information.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior tax or clerical experience in an office environment a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with computers, data entry, and basic spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a passion for learning.
