Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping and Logistics Specialist to manage the movement of equipment from our facilities to and from our field projects . This role requires a strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a Full-Time position, typically Monday-Friday, as well as off hours work during busy times.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and track all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Select and negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates and delivery terms.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, customs declarations, and related paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local shipping regulations.
- Monitor shipments in real time and resolve any transit or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight costs, and inventory movements.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and science teams to optimize logistics efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and reduce costs.
- Equipment tracking and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- [Preferred] Experience with import/export compliance and customs brokerage.

- Full-Time, 40+ hours/week
- Monday-Friday, as well as off hours work during busy times
