Pay Rate: $25–$29/hour (DOE)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic team in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership accounting and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and dealership schedules
- Post vehicle sales, wholesale deals, and inventory transactions
- Prepare and process funding and title paperwork
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Collaborate with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership environment
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
