Owner-Operator Flatbed Driver
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Owner-Operator Flatbed Drivers to haul flatbed freight across regional and/or OTR lanes. This opportunity is ideal for professional drivers who own and operate their own equipment and are looking for consistent loads, competitive pay, and reliable support.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport flatbed freight in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Properly secure and tarp loads as required
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
- Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and schedules
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery while maintaining safety standards
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Owner-Operator with own tractor (flatbed trailer preferred or available)
- Minimum 1 year of flatbed driving experience preferred
- Ability to tarp and secure loads safely
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
