Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Warehouse Specialists. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Responsibilities include most of the following, but are not limited to:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Verifying materials or merchandise against receiving documents.
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
- Removing material from storage and preparing for shipment.
- Duties may involve shipping and receiving, order filling, or operating forklifts to perform warehousing duties.
- Other Duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
- Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma.
- GCSS-Army experience required.
Security Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have active secret clearance.
- Must be able to obtain, at minimum, a favorable adjudicated National Agency check with inquires (NACI).
