About our Agency:
I started my career as a State Farm agent back in 1985. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and a Master's degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy. I have been an active member of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce for 35 years, and I am honored to be a recipient of the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow award. Additionally, I am involved in the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and support the Boy Scouts of America. Living in Delray Beach for over four decades, I have truly become a part of the community.

My agency has been recognized with the Crystal of Excellence award for an impressive 25 consecutive years. At the office, we prioritize teamwork and collaboration. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
John Peters - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
