Summary:
Molekule is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our eCommerce and retail accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in accuracy and process improvement.
Your work will directly support Molekule’s mission to improve human health and well-being, beginning with the air we breathe.
What You Will Own:
- Manage billing, invoicing, and collections in line with company policies and procedures
- Partner with internal teams to support credit and collection initiatives
- Research and resolve vendor and customer invoicing issues
- Accurately enter and record vendor and customer invoices, POs, credits, deductions, and adjustments
- Process product returns and ensure accurate financial recording
- Review and analyze daily sales orders and receivable balances for order release
- Support monthly reconciliations and reporting tasks
- Assist with process improvements and other projects as needed
Requirements:
What You Will Bring:
- 4–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Background in supporting eCommerce businesses; experience with consumer products, wholesale, or retail industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience
