Job Description

Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster – Commercial Auto (Attorney-Rep Experience Preferred)

About the Role

Cable Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster specializing in Commercial Auto claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling attorney-represented bodily injury cases, exceptional time management, and the ability to balance complex files while maintaining accuracy and composure under pressure.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and confident in managing communications between attorneys, insureds, and internal leadership — ensuring timely and fair resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of commercial auto bodily injury claims, including attorney-represented and litigated matters.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims efficiently and in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Assess coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages through careful review of facts, statements, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with defense counsel to develop litigation and negotiation strategies.
  • Prepare timely reports, settlement evaluations, and coverage analyses for management review.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reserves, and timely updates in the claims management system.
  • Attend claims review meetings and contribute insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with insureds, attorneys, claimants, and internal departments to facilitate resolution.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience handling bodily injury claims within commercial auto (attorney-represented or litigated experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Florida and multi-state claims processes and litigation.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills — able to manage multiple files and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; insurance designations (AIC, CPCU, or equivalent) a plus.
