Bellagio International Gallery is seeking a part-time Art Consultant to join our team on Las Olas Blvd. This role is ideal for a people-person who enjoys conversation, learning, and working in a creative, high-end environment. No extensive sales experience is required—we provide hands-on training, education, and mentorship in fine art sales and gallery operations.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome and engage every guest who enters the gallery
- Learn the artists we represent and confidently talk about their work
- Present artwork to clients and guide them through the gallery
- Create a memorable, personal experience for each visitor
- Collect client contact information and build long-term relationships
- Follow up with interested clients via phone, email, and text
- Assist with special events, exhibitions, and client outreach
- Support sales from initial conversation through closing
- Help with artwork handling, installations, framing coordination, and organization
- Maintain the gallery’s appearance (presentation, dusting, alignment, labeling)
- Assist with documentation such as invoices, receipts, delivery slips, and pickups
- Communicate with gallery leadership regarding performance and opportunities

- Is naturally friendly and comfortable starting conversations with strangers
- Enjoys learning and is eager to be coached
- Has an interest in art, design, or creative industries
- Is reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Is comfortable standing for long periods and assisting with artwork movement
- Is confident speaking on the phone and in person
- Has sales or customer-facing experience (a plus, but not required)
Training & Growth
- Ongoing education about our artists and artwork
- Sales training focused on consultative, relationship-based selling
- Direct mentorship from gallery leadership
- Opportunity to grow within the gallery based on performance
Schedule & Availability
- 15–25 hours per week (3–4 days per week)
- Weekends, holidays, and special events required
- Gallery hours:

- Mon–Thu: 10:30am – 9:00pm
- Fri–Sun: 10:30am – 10:00pm
Compensation
- Hourly base pay + commission on artwork sales
- Commission opportunities increase with performance
