If you are a proactive Procurement lead with SAP experience and experienced with direct purchasing. This role is pivotal in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing procurement strategies to enhance cost efficiency and operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and have a passion for driving impactful results. Being bilingual English and Spanish is a highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to specific purchasing categories.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead contract negotiations and tender/bid processes to secure favorable terms.
• Analyze purchase requests and ensure alignment with organizational systems and requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation within supply chains.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on procurement policies and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed procurement reports and support audit processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate procurement efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sourcing and purchasing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and expertise in contract management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
• A certification in purchasing or supply chain is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster vendor relationships.
• Experience in forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Ability to implement efficient procurement processes and strategies.
