We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the FEDEX Delivery Driver at preparing the truck and loading/ unloading packages throughout the delivery route. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. The candidate must be able to lift heavy packages and available to work on week ends. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism while representing our company.
Responsibilities
- Organize the delivery tuck to ensure safe and efficient delivery of items.
- Assist the Fedex delivery driver throughout the day while loading and unloading large delivery package
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Use of scanner to record delivery and plan route effeciently.
- Load and unload products, utilizing equipment such as hand truck.
- Provide exceptional customer service'
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 100 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in completing delivery documentation.
- Ability to work week ends
