Job Posting: Outside Government Sales Representative
AED One-Stop Shop, a leading distributor of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), is seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote AED Sales Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to make a difference in saving lives. Our mission is to provide new AED technology to government entities, corporations, non-profits, churches, gyms, school districts, construction companies, and other workplace settings. The small but talented team is seeking to expand its Southwest USA footprint into new geographies Nationally.
Position: Outside Government Sales Representative
Location: Remote
Salary: $40,000 - $48,000 depending on qualifications
Compensation: Full benefits, monthly commissions, monthly bonuses, and an expense account for marketing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a 1 to 3 State Geography Territory: Responsible for cultivating leads and driving sales within your designated territory.
- Cultivate a Strong Target List: Develop a comprehensive list of desired customers and existing accounts to grow and nurture.
- Make 30+ In-Person Visits per Week: Aim to make at least 30 calls weekly, focusing on a mix of existing and new prospects, with an emphasis on large-scale opportunities.
- Promote and Sell a Suite of Products and Services: Recommend not just the sale of the live-saving AED devices but also Readiness Software, Compliance Offerings, CPR Training and Advanced Trauma Kits
- Set Up Demo Presentations: Schedule and conduct virtual or in-person presentations derived from marketing efforts to engage potential customers often in partnership with Manufacturer Reps from Stryker, ZOLL, Philips and Defibtech.
- Build Your Personal Brand: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for AEDs by creating strategic alliances, leveraging customer referrals, and utilizing your personal network.
- Attend Conferences: Participate in relevant industry conferences to expand your sales pipeline and strengthen your personal brand.
- High Rate of Phone Calling: Follow up after quoting customers to win the POs (purchase orders) also cold calling to setup visits, demos and appointments.
- Achieve 5+ Quoted Accounts Per Day: Strive to generate at least 5 quoted accounts daily through consistent efforts and relationship-building.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, with rankings within the top 25% of your previous teams.
- Business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-government (B2G) sales experience.
- Experience selling tangible products, ideally with associated services or maintenance agreements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Aptitude to excel in product knowledge understanding for 6 brands of AED devices and multiple models within each
- Willingness to travel for in-person visits, presentations, and conferences within your assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales processes.
