Job Description
Were looking for drivers who put safety first and want to play a meaningful role in keeping our campus community safe at night. Our drivers are more than just drivers theyre trusted, calm, and dependable presences for students traveling during evening and late-night hours.
In this role, youll provide safe, reliable rides for students after dark, help ensure they get where theyre going comfortably, and serve as a friendly, professional ambassador for the University. If youre someone who stays alert, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in creating a safe environment on campus, this role is a great fit.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and reliable transportation within our communities while delivering the highest level of customer service to our passengers.
Ensure daily cleanliness and safety of vehicles for daily rides.
Utilize navigation apps to determine optimal routes, ensuring passengers reach their destinations promptly.
Act as a community ambassador for Slidr and any partnering companies, which may include distributing samples and promoting events.
Position Requirements
Minimum age of 21.
Passion for helping others.
Valid Drivers License.
3+ years of licensed driving experience in the United States.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask and navigate a driver app.
Clean driving record (Reviewed prior to hire).
Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical.
Must have an iPhone.
A Day in the Life of a Slidr Community Ambassador
Report to your Slidr home base, where our eco-friendly vehicles await.
Open the Slidr app, log in, and start your shift.
Complete a comprehensive vehicle checklist to ensure everything is in order.
If you spot an issue, alert the managementthey've got your back.
Clean the vehicle's interior for a pleasant passenger experience.
Hit the road, navigating the service area.
If assistance is needed, call our Customer Support Teamthey're always ready to help.
Wrap up your shift by returning your vehicle to the Slidr garage. After a quick cleaning session, plug the vehicle into our charging stationsand you're done for the day.
