TAX ACCOUNTANT
Location: BOCA RATON, FL
FULL TIME, ON-SITE POSITION
A well-established wealth management firm is seeking a FULL-TIME TAX ACCOUNTANT to join its BOCA RATON, FL office. The ideal candidate must be able to HANDLE large volume of tax returns, interact with clients, professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- 1+ years’ experience using UltraTax software (business return experience a plus)
- Familiarity with sales and payroll tax filings
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Positive, team-oriented professional approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client interviews and gather financial documentation
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare individual and small business tax returns
- Provide guidance on tax and accounting matters
- Respond to client inquiries and research tax-related issues
- Assist with sales and payroll tax filings
- Support additional projects as assigned
