The Senior Event Sales Manager for Zuma & Etaru is responsible for booking, planning, and executing private events across both brands while driving revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven experience managing event sales in fast-paced, seasonal markets. The Senior Event Sales Manager will oversee the full event lifecycle, from lead generation and client consultation through execution and final billing, while working closely with culinary, operations, and leadership teams across both concepts.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Book, manage, and execute events across Zuma and Etaru, ensuring accuracy in all event details
- Drive event sales through proactive selling, showing, and closing techniques
- Develop and implement floor plans for events, ensuring optimal layout and flow
- Attend meetings with chefs, operations leaders, and clients to discuss event details and requirements
- Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise
- Close out billing for events, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently
- Conduct outreach activities to generate new leads and build relationships with potential clients
- Manage a high volume of inbound leads, maintaining a professional and timely response to all inquiries
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Zuma's offerings to effectively sell and promote the venue
What We Look For
Our ideal candidate embodies our values and the following:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality
- Demonstrated success managing events across multiple venues or brands
- Experience working in seasonal or destination markets strongly preferred
- Proven ability to proactively build and manage a sales pipeline, not only rely on inbound inquiries
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in event management and CRM software
- Professional presence with exceptional client service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
