Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Shipping Clerk will prepare orders for Markets and Restaurants and be responsible for the overall organization of the plant products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verify all items being shipped have a printed bar code label on them. If label is missing, create a label.
- Create packing list for all items being shipped via Production/Shipping System. Secure items on a transport cart or pallet.
- Maintain storage coolers, freezers, warehouse and shipping area clean and organized properly at all times.
- Understand how to perform physical inventory verifications on all final and raw/dry material items.
- Understand how to read and utilize our Production/Shipping System.
- Comply with personnel GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) to ensure the safety and quality of our operations and product(s).
- Assist the Delivery Drivers in loading of each and every delivery on a daily/weekly basis and/or or as necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring that all inventory, transport, and loading requirements are met.
- Ensure all received items are stored properly
- Responsible to maintain pallet of dough (for empanada production) in the cooler (dough inventory is stored in the freezer), replace the pallet of dough as necessary.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
