Ash Properties is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to join our leadership team and oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Legacy Family Entertainment Center in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Beach Bowl features a modern bowling experience, arcade, full-service restaurant, multiple bars, and a live entertainment venue. Our mission is to deliver exceptional guest experiences through state-of-the-art facilities, innovative attractions, best in class food & beverage and outstanding service.
Position Summary
The Operations Leader will be responsible for the strategic financial planning and operational oversight of all areas within the entertainment center. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with senior level hospitality management experience (Family Entertainment operations preferred) strong communication skills, and the financial acumen to ensure the operation is realizing its’ full potential. The position is based at our Jacksonville headquarters, with regular site visits requiring approximately 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with third party management group, property level operations team and internal corporate departments.
- Collaborate with Operations, Accounting and Human Resources to resolve issues and support performance.
- Review and ensure compliance with all third-party agreements
- Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and procurement related to equipment and facility systems.
- Monitor asset performance and depreciation, providing data-driven recommendations for replacements or capital investments
- Ensure all assets meet safety, quality and regulatory compliance standards
Financial Oversight & Auditing
- Audit financial statements, billing, and operating reports for accuracy and performance
- Review and analyze financial data, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports to senior management
- Conduct inventory audits of food, beverage and operating supplies.
- Develop and oversee implementation of marketing, revenue and expense strategies to maximize revenue growth and cost savings
- Support the development of annual operating and capital budgets
- Work with third party management group to develop and implement strategic action plans to overcome any budget deficits, as required
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
- 10+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience, 5+ years in a managerial role
- Proficient in managing the cost of goods sold and labor
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to lead a team to create a positive memorable guest experience
