Job Summary: The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This role involves receiving shipments, stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, shipping orders, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient inventory management and distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with the other team members to ensure smooth inventory flow and order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all inventory items.
• Track inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Assist in managing returns, damaged goods, and restocking procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in developing and improving warehouse and inventory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory.
• Proficiency in inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Requires physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 15 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
