- Responsible for the recruitment of quality foster parents in the Licensing Department.
- Keeps an organized and accurate spreadsheet of all contacts made in the community as well as follow-ups to said organizations.
- Develop presentations for speaking engagements for the recruitment of foster parents.
- Implement and update agency recruitment plan.
- Assists in the placement of recruitment materials, bulletin and newsletter announcements in the community.
- Increases community partnerships in an effort to link His House Children’s Home to the community
- Consistently works on maintaining and retaining relationships with the outside community partnerships.
- Initiates and coordinates contact with businesses, hospitals and other community facilities with the purpose of the recruitment of foster parents.
- Creates speaking opportunities with different organizations in the community for the Licensing Assistant Director to recruit foster parent.
- Assesses foster parent applicants to assure suitability to become a foster parent and reports back to the licensing team.
- Must have Speaking / Presentation experience
- Must be a self-starter, able to initiate and complete projects / presentations with minimal supervision
- Must have an Associates’ degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be bilingual English / Spanish
