The Miami office, located in the heart of the Brickell financial district, serves as a gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting high-net-worth families, family offices, and professional advisors with global wealth preservation and succession planning.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Wealth Planner to join our Miami office. As a Wealth Planner specializing in Trust Services, you will be instrumental in delivering bespoke fiduciary solutions to international clients and domestic clients. Youll work closely with legal, tax, and financial professionals to design and implement structures that protect assets, optimize tax outcomes, and ensure smooth generational wealth transfer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors to understand complex estate planning needs.
- Building relationships with local attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors.
- Recommend and implement trust structures across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with Tridents global network.
- Educate clients and intermediaries on the benefits and limitations of international and domestic trust services.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and administration of trust entities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Tridents internal standards.
- Represent Trident Trust at industry events and contribute to thought leadership in the wealth planning space.
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on wealth transfer strategies, tax planning, and asset protection.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge
- Juris Doctorate, CTFA, CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wealth planning, estate planning, and knowledge of trust administration.
- Deep understanding of international fiduciary structures and cross-border estate planning.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a consultative and client-first approach.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
