We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and optimize the accounts payable function within Construction industry in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial processes and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in payment workflows.


Responsibilities:

• Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

• Review and approve invoice coding to maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Manage check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to ensure smooth and efficient payment processing.

• Implement and maintain procedures for coding invoices to improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure strong relationships.

• Monitor accounts payable metrics and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.

• Oversee the application of automated systems and tools to streamline accounts payable workflows.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all accounts payable activities.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounts payable processes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in coding invoices, check runs, and (ACH) transactions.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with automated systems and tools to improve accounts payable processes.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
