Position Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist position for our client located in Sarasota, FL. This opportunity is an onsite, direct hire role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, post, verify, and record payments, including credit card, lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.
- Communicate with vendors to address accounts receivable issues.
- Contact customers via email and phone regarding their accounts to answer questions, research and resolve payment or billing discrepancies, collect on past due amounts, negotiate payment settlements, and process adjustments as necessary.
Experience and Education Requirements
- A minimum of two years of Accounts Receivable experience is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective customer service, communication, research, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience with accounting software is considered a plus.
Work Hours and Pay Rate
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Pay $22/hour
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
