Salary: $110k - $140k (depending on experience), plus bonus
Location: Boca Raton, FL (100% in office, not hybrid / remote, with occasional travel)

Job Description
Co. is based in Boca Raton, Florida, well established Investment Advisory firm focused on real estate, energy, and related investments seeking an experienced investment analyst to help evaluate acquisitions/dispositions, structure and monitor equity investments, joint ventures, senior loans and subordinated loans for real estate investments and related projects. Three plus years working with these types of transactions, including preparation and/or review of underwriting assumptions, operating and cash flow forecasts, assessment of the projected internal rate of return, performance and profit ratios, assessment of inherent investment risks, review of loan documentation, and post-closing contract compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data evaluation of information developed internally or received from project sponsor, real estate developers or potential joint venture partners, including assessment of projected and budgeted costs, timing of construction projects, projected operating income and expenses and investment return requirements
- Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, maintain communications with senior staff to obtain and assess pertinent data and provide needed analysis throughout the investment process, including:
- IRR Calculation
- Debt Ratio
- Loan-to-Value Ratio
- Debt Service Coverage Ratio
- Debt Yield Ratio
- Loan-to-Cost Ratio
- Profit Ratio
- Sensitivity analysis
- Assist with the preparation of term sheets to document the general conditions under which the company would be willing to make an investment
- Participate in the legal document preparation process to ensure that applicable assumptions and risk mitigation factors are included in the final documents
- Assist the debt/equity servicing team throughout the life of the investment to help ensure compliance with investment agreements
- Perform market analysis to determine leasing rates, sales trends and supply/demand trends
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant degree required, e.g. accounting, finance, economics. Preferred candidate will also have a background with a focus on real estate, construction/development, and energy sectors.
- Minimum of three years of experience.
- Strong organizational, communication and time management skills with an ability to work independently as well as communicate concisely with senior staff.
- Requires periodic travel and client/sponsor interaction.
