Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Lake Worth, Florida. This part-time role requires 25-30 hours per week and is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR processes and administration. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to key HR functions while supporting the office's operational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain HR records, including I-9 forms and unemployment claim documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to the new HR personnel in their role.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
• Conduct onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
• Manage employee relations and address workplace concerns effectively.
• Perform background checks and verify candidate credentials.
• Utilize HRIS systems to streamline administrative tasks and maintain accurate data.
• Support compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Coordinate administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of the HR office.• Extensive experience in human resources administration and operations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and related software.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations.
• Familiarity with payroll procedures and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to provide guidance and support.
