Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled 3D Printer Service Technician to join our team in Clearwater, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of professional 3D printers and related equipment. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure 3D printing systems at customer sites

  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues

  • Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to customers

  • Train end-users on operation, care, and maintenance of equipment

  • Accurately document service activities, repairs, and parts usage

  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and consumables

  • Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to support customer needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment service, technical field support, or related role (3D printing or CNC/automation experience highly desirable)

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with CAD software and additive manufacturing workflows preferred

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills

  • Ability to travel locally with occasional regional assignments

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
