We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will handle various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial statements, and supporting month-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger accounting and possess strong organizational and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable by matching and batching purchase orders and packing slips to invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable by collecting and accurately posting payments.
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing necessary financial adjustments.
• Reconcile accounts
• Oversee the purchasing process, including managing invoices and ensuring timely payments.
• Prepare financial statements and reports to support business operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate financial workflows.
• Utilize bilingual skills in English and Spanish to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to reconcile bank and credit card statements with precision.
• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency in managing invoice systems and purchasing processes.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
