At Blue Moon Estate Sales, we pride ourselves in being the most friendly and helpful estate liquidators in the business. We search for individuals who are passionate about helping others and who want to share their passion with others. We are seeking an Estate Sales Field Manager who is energetic, hardworking and quick learners to join our team. During the week you will help with networking and client consultations, help stage homes for estate sale, evaluating items for pricing. On the weekend, you will aid in the operation and execution of the estate sale.

Were Looking For Someone Who...Has 2+ years of outside or in-home sales
experience (real estate, insurance, senior services, etc.)
Is a confident closer who can connect quickly and build trust
Has strong communication and presentation skills
Is organized, tech-savvy, and follows through
Has an interest in vintage items, jewelry, or estates (bonus if you know antiques or
collectibles)
Is energetic, reliable, and enjoys being on the road
Is motivated by purpose as much as performance

The Field Manager is an expert when it comes to running an estate sale. Within this role, you will be in control to make sure that the sale process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for supervising the on-site team and providing oversight and direction.

What youll be doing:
Ensure the estate sale process runs smoothly and efficiently
Knowledgeable on each aspect of the estate sale process to effectively answer all questions that arise before, during and after the sale
Responsible for hiring and training new team members
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Blue Moon Estate Sales core values and brand standards
Communicate expectations and priorities to team
Provide ongoing feedback and direction to team
Responsible for removing, sorting and organizing items throughout clients homes, including those in attics, basements, storage areas, etc.
Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail shop environment inside of each residence
Be the point of contact with each sales client

Responsibilities

  • Attend in-home consultations with families preparing for estate transitions
  • Build relationships with clients and guide them through estate sale, auction, and
  • cleanout options
  • Present pricing, timelines, and service benefits clearly and confidently
  • Handle objections and close contracts at or after the consultation
  • Use our CRM to track all leads, appointments, and follow-ups
  • Develop local referral relationships and attend networking events
  • Proactively reach out to realtors, probate attorneys, and senior communities

Week day tasks that will be required:

  • Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail shop environment inside of each
  • residence

  • Remove, sort and organize items throughout the clients homes, including those in
  • garage, storage areas, etc.
  • Place items in a logical manner throughout each home
  • Evaluate and place a price sticker or tag on each item or lot of items for sale


Weekend tasks that will be required:

  • Greet and interact with customers in a kind and friendly manner
  • Control crowds, and keep shoppers out of specified areas
  • Assist customers with questions regarding products and pricing
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Cashiers check customers out using point-of-sale system
  • Accurately input customer and item data into point-of-sale system
  • Be responsible for handling cash during the sale
  • Balance registers before and after the sale


Job description


What were looking for:
Previous estate sale or retail experience preferred
Must be customer service oriented
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Willingness to learn basic product pricing
Ability to work flexible hours and in a variety of locations
o Locations will vary from week to week depending on the sizes of clients homes and the number of sales happening within two week periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have access to reliable transportation
