As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced accountants and assisting with a variety of accounting tasks. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong foundation in accounting principles, and is ready to grow within a dynamic CPA firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and tax returns for clients.
- Perform data entry and record financial transactions accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll and sales tax returns.
- Provide support for audits and tax planning.
- Assist in the maintenance of financial records and client files.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and management to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or in progress).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is a MUST.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
