Position Summary: We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join the Palm House team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving business growth across group, leisure, and event segments, while cultivating long-lasting relationships with clients. Your primary goal will be to maximize revenue and enhance guest experiences, ensuring that every visit to the Palm House Hotel is unforgettable. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying opportunities, nurturing client partnerships, and developing tailored proposals that meet diverse needs. Additionally, you will provide onsite support for key programs and VIP clients, ensuring seamless execution and elevated service standards. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to leads, prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage conversion
· Administrative Duties as assigned by Senior Sales Manager
· Conduct personalized site inspections and destination experiences for potential clients
· Provide onsite presence for high-profile events and VIP arrivals as needed
· Track performance metrics, manage pipeline in CRM (Thynk), and contribute to forecasting
· Stay current on competitive landscape, market trends, and seasonality in Palm Beach
· Represent Palm House at key industry events, tradeshows, and networking functions
· Proactively source, qualify, and close business across group, leisure, and event segments
· Develop strong relationships with clients, travel advisors, and partners to drive repeat business and referrals
· Collaborate with marketing on strategic campaigns, collateral, and promotion
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales environment, preferably in a boutique or lifestyle property
· Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving account growth
· Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
· Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
· Self-motivated and team-oriented with a polished, professional presence
· Experience with CRM systems (Delphi, Opera, or similar) and Microsoft Office
· Familiarity with the Palm Beach luxury market is a plus
