Position Overview
The CAAS Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations within the CAAS (Client Accounting and Advisory Services) team. This role involves managing a team of accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The supervisor will also play a key role in client interactions and the strategic development of the CAAS services offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants in the CAAS department.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for clients.
- Review and approve client financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage client relationships and provide advisory services as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Experience in public accounting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
