Responsibilities
We are seeking a charismatic and reliable Holiday Santa Entertainer to bring the magic of the season to life during our Winter Light Festival. The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of Santa Claus, engaging with guests of all ages in a warm, joyful, and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Portray Santa Claus authentically in appearance, mannerisms, and spirit.
- Interact warmly with children and families, creating memorable guest experiences.
- Pose for photographs with guests and assist in creating lasting holiday memories.
- Distribute small gifts, candy canes, or promotional items (as provided by the hotel).
- Participate in event activities such as tree lighting, storytelling, or meet-and-greet sessions.
- Maintain a friendly, festive presence throughout the poolside Winter Light Festival.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth crowd flow and safety during interactions.
- Maintains a clean, safe, & healthy work environment.
- Support safety by noticing and reporting any potential hazards or guest concerns to Supervisor.
- Must contain thorough knowledge of holiday event, concessions, restrooms, merchandising, and all other pertinent areas within the poolside festival.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in photoshoots for advertisements on various media outlets including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, property collateral, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Santa Claus performer or entertainer preferred, but not required.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with children, families, and large crowds.
- Ability to remain in character and maintain enthusiasm throughout scheduled shifts.
- Physical stamina to sit, stand, and engage with guests for extended periods.
- Must meet appearance standards (Santa suit provided by hotel).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday dates during the festival period.
- Must be open to work a seasonal position – full time hours will be provided.
- High school diploma or GED preferred along with 1 - 2 years of customer service experience.
Bonuses (Nice to Haves):
- Storytelling, acting, or performance background.
- Ability to ad-lib and engage guests with humor and holiday cheer.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) for enhanced guest engagement.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
