Temporary Front Desk / Administrative Assistant

Duration: 2-Week Assignment

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Front Desk / Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations within an educational environment. This short-term role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff while providing general administrative support to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, students, parents, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Maintain front desk coverage and manage sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, copying, and scanning
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar updates, and basic coordination as needed
  • Support office staff with clerical duties and special projects during the assignment
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or office support role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic office technology (phones, email, Microsoft Office or similar systems)
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to commit to the full 2-week assignment
