Temporary Front Desk / Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Front Desk / Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations within an educational environment. This short-term role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff while providing general administrative support to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, parents, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
- Maintain front desk coverage and manage sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, copying, and scanning
- Assist with scheduling, calendar updates, and basic coordination as needed
- Support office staff with clerical duties and special projects during the assignment
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or office support role preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic office technology (phones, email, Microsoft Office or similar systems)
- Punctual, dependable, and able to commit to the full 2-week assignment
