Flight Operations Support Specialist - Private Jet Operations (Remote Position)
Job Description
Job Description
About Thrust Aviation
Thrust Aviation is a U.S.-based private aviation company specializing in on-demand private jet charter, aircraft management, and aircraft sales. Founded in 2019, we’ve earned a reputation for exceptional service, transparent pricing, and operational excellence.
We are a fast-growing team of high achievers who share a passion for aviation, precision, and delivering for our clients.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Flight Support Specialist to join our global 24/7 operations team. This is a remote, full-time role supporting private jet operations worldwide. You’ll work in a fast-paced, highly detailed, and time-sensitive environment where every second counts.
This job requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to perform under pressure, and top-tier verbal and written communication — you’ll be working directly with operators, vendors, and high-value clients.
You must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude even in high-pressure situations.
We hire for attitude and mindset — we can train you on our tools and processes, but you need to bring energy, resilience, and a drive to succeed.
Important Fit Note
This is not a casual or laid-back role. If you don’t thrive under pressure, struggle with multitasking, or dislike time-sensitive, client-facing work, this is not the right fit for you.
We are looking for people who:
✅ Stay calm and clear-headed under tight deadlines
✅ Juggle multiple priorities without dropping details
✅ Communicate clearly, even when things get intense
✅ Bring a positive, solution-focused attitude, even on tough days
If you love a challenge, enjoy solving real-time problems, and take pride in delivering high-level operational support, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time flight support, including flight-following, operational monitoring, and live updates.
- Coordinate with pilots, operators, handlers, and vendors to ensure seamless, on-time operations.
- Monitor weather, NOTAMs, and operational risks to support safe flight execution.
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in English across all channels (written + spoken).
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of a high-performance global team.
- Handle multiple tasks under time pressure while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Contribute to improving team workflows, tools, and problem-solving strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level; C1 or higher preferred) — outstanding written and spoken communication.
- Prior airline or aviation operations experience is essential (airline ops, flight dispatch, private aviation, FBO, etc.).
- Strong understanding of flight-following, operational support, and time-sensitive decision-making.
- High-level attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities under pressure.
- Flexible, adaptable mindset with excellent multitasking skills.
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and positive attitude — especially in demanding or stressful situations.
- Advanced computer skills and ability to work across multiple systems and tools.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Dispatcher license or certification.
- Experience in private aviation or business jet operations.
- Familiarity with global flight planning and tracking systems (ARINC Direct, FOS, Rockwell Collins, Jeppesen, ForeFlight).
