SUMMARY:
Perry Ellis International is hiring an Assistant Buyer for our Direct-to-Consumer division. This position will be responsible for supporting the buying team in the day-to-day management of the buying office. It will require cross functional partnership with merchandising, planning, marketing, and e-commerce and store management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the buying office.
- Own reporting updates, including by style, department, product type, and channel selling.
- Assist the Sr. Buyer with in-season business decks, ad hoc analysis, and data entry.
- Maintain accuracy of all product information, including attributes and prices.
- Have a deep understanding of the assortment.
- Create, enter, and manage all purchase orders and special projects.
- Track and maintain delivery information.
- Manage samples and work with the studio to ensure all items are photographed for the site.
- Assist in prepping photo shoots and asset requests.
- Create and deliver product knowledge documents.
- Create and disseminate promotion information and pricing information to the stores.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Math, Business, Finance, Merchandising or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the fashion or retail industry.
