About Us
Laundry Owners Warehouse is a fast-growing commercial laundry parts, equipment, and service company operating across multiple entities. We process thousands of orders, manage complex inventory, and support several departments (Parts, Equipment, Service, Multi-Housing, Operations, and more). We’re scaling rapidly and preparing for an ERP upgrade into Microsoft Dynamics 365. We need an experienced Accounting Manager who can bring organization, accuracy, and leadership to a high-volume accounting environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager / Bookkeeping Manager with strong experience in QuickBooks Desktop and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP systems). This person will manage daily accounting operations, ensure clean financials across multiple companies, and support our Controller and future CFO in building a world-class accounting department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting for multiple entities with high transaction volume.
- Oversee AP, AR, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and GL accuracy.
- Perform month-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Maintain accurate financials by department (Parts, Equipment, Service, Warehouse, Shipping).
- Oversee inventory-related accounting and partner with Operations/Inventory teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
- Maintain vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and schedule payments.
- Support sales tax compliance (Avalara experience is a plus).
- Review payroll-related accounting entries (processing done through ADP).
- Support ERP preparation and migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Train and supervise accounting support staff (Bookkeeper, AP/AR, Accounting Admin).
- Improve processes, documentation, and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another major ERP system
- 5+ years in accounting or advanced bookkeeping roles.
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or inventory-based businesses strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting.
- Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reporting.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
Compensation
Salary Range: $78,000 – $95,000 per year, based on experience.
Bonus: Up to 5–10% annual bonus tied to accuracy, timeliness, closing process, and department KPIs.
