We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Purchasing Associate to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in supply chain or procurement. The Junior Purchasing Associate will support the purchasing team with day-to-day operations including vendor communication, order processing, inventory tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services as directed.

Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with internal procedures.

Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and lead times.

Track and expedite open orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in ERP or purchasing software.

Support the evaluation of vendor performance including quality, price, and reliability.

Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and working with finance to process payments.

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, warehousing, finance) to ensure purchasing needs are met.

Perform general administrative tasks in support of the purchasing department.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.

0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support (internships and related experience welcome).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
