We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Purchasing Associate to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in supply chain or procurement. The Junior Purchasing Associate will support the purchasing team with day-to-day operations including vendor communication, order processing, inventory tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services as directed.

  • Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with internal procedures.

  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and lead times.

  • Track and expedite open orders to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in ERP or purchasing software.

  • Support the evaluation of vendor performance including quality, price, and reliability.

  • Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and working with finance to process payments.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, warehousing, finance) to ensure purchasing needs are met.

  • Perform general administrative tasks in support of the purchasing department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.

  • 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support (internships and related experience welcome).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
