Position Overview:
The IT Sales / Account Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that align with the unique needs of customers. This individual will be a strategic partner to clients, working closely with technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow accounts and generate new business within targeted industries.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue leads through networking, referrals, events, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication, trust-building, and consultative selling.
- Understand and communicate the value proposition of AI-based information management solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, working alongside pre-sales engineers as needed.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including contract negotiation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy and positioning.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, support) to ensure client needs are understood and met post-sale.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT sales, software sales, or technology account management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, or AI-based solutions is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into business value.
- Experience working with external clients in MSPs, technology services, technical solutions, AI innovation is a must.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborating with offshore development or delivery teams.
