National Sales Manager.
The overall goal of this position is support of our selling efforts to Warehouse Distributors and Retail Accounts.
Key responsibilities will include:
• New account generation, top account growth, improvement on key metrics.
• Identify and generate new business accounts.
• Support and coach manufacturer’s rep agencies, through strengthening relationships, and training on product lines and growing sales.
• Initiate contact with new prospective accounts.
• Build relationships with current and potential customers, a true go getter.
• Regularly reviews performance, market trends and create actionable plans for continued sales growth.
• Provide leadership, feedback, coaching, motivation and resources to Manufacturers Rep Agencies.
• Attends relevant trade shows and events in support of the customers and company.
Qualifications of a successful candidate:
• Automotive aftermarket knowledge and experience with hard parts, preferably Brakes.
• Proven 5+ years of sales success (experience selling in the aftermarket and/or automotive industry)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of financial reporting and discounting strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively on an “one-on-one” basis and in group presentations.
• Passion for performance, driven to provide quality products and excellent customer service.
• Adept at accepting and leading change and innovation.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork, customers and forming professional relationships.
• Desire to win and be a team player on a winning team.
• Comfortable using all Microsoft Office Products.
• Travel will be required.
