PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Procurement Manager – Construction Industry
Location: Des Moines | Full-Time | ️ On-Site

Role Overview:
As our Procurement Manager, you’ll lead the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services essential to our construction projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery across all procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Perform takeoffs and create estimates
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage vendor relationships and performance
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience in the construction industry
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of local and national building material suppliers
- Experience purchasing material and/or equipment.
